So to get you caught up...I'll start from most recent to older news.
IT'S A BOY!...OR WILL BE A BOY...
We had a sonogram on Tuesday, November 11, and a boy he is. Once Mike gets the sonogram pictures scanned in, I'll post them on here. Mike, Mom, and Lia all came to find out. We could tell right away, he definitely wasn't shy. Lia was a little disappointed since she wanted a little sister. But, when I pointed out the fact that she'd be the only girl...the only granddaughter...and that there are advantages to being the only girl...she actually acknowledged that was a good point and was fine. Amazing, I, her mother, could make a good point.
HALLOWEEN 2008
Jaxon dressed up as Stitch, from Disney's Lilo & Stitch. He was so cute.
However, since it was the greatest night for Halloween (perfect weather), he got a little sweaty in the full costume. He raked in the candy though, let me tell you, and mostly because he was so darn cute. People were actually giving him extra candy because he was so cute. Amazing... Anyway, Lia stayed home and handed out candy or at least socialized with her friends and pretended to hand out candy. I guess she's too old now to dress...where did all the time go? I miss those days when I'd get her all dressed up and walk her around Mom's neighborhood. Man, I feel old...
LIA'S 1ST DANCE - COSTUME PARTY
Lia had her 1st dance on 10/24 at the Junior High. She went in a simple, thought-up-on-her-own costume so she wouldn't get too hot and could still dance. She went as a peacock - jeans, purple t-shirt, feather boa, and a peacock mask. Too cute...and funny...
MY FIRST PHOTO SHOOT
Took pictures, semi-professional, of some friends of mine. These were there family pictures of the year, for Christmas presents. Check them out on my photography site.
TRIP TO TANNER'S ORCHARD
Took the kids to Tanner's Orchard, north of Peoria. They have great food, HUGE pumpkin patch that you get to on a wagon ride, great big playground with barrel wagon rides for the kids, shopping, and all over the farm are pumpkins and gords dressed up like famous cartoon characters. The kids had a lot of fun.
