Everything is fine...

A little scare today...was having some cramps so the doctor wanted to make sure everything was fine. Everything is fine...amniotic fluid was fine, placenta looked good, and baby measured just shy of 16 weeks. The heart rate was 156 beats per minute, so if you went by the old wives' tale - that means girl. But, that myth is just that...a myth. The best part was the baby was SO...and I mean SO active. The arms and legs were going all over the place, and at one point was sucking his/her thumb. Got a picture (see below - top picture) when the baby's head turned toward us...can you guess what he/she is dressing up as (in utero) for Halloween...you got it...Skeletor from He-Man. Kind of creepy, but cool...I'm sure he/she is beautiful!! Bottom picture is from the side and he/she was sucking his/her thumb...can't really tell, but I swear it was.

Mike and I have names picked out for both a boy or a girl, so we'll find out on Veterans Day which we'll be using. We'll tell the gender, but the name is a secret. Hope my grandmother can wait...
