On to next year...

I feel so bad for my mom. I would love it if she could see her Cubbies win the World Series in her lifetime. My wonderful husband, the die-hard Cardinals fan, bought her & our daughter tickets to the next playoff round if the Cubs moved on. However, now it's just a piece of paper and worthless. But I guess, as Cub fans have gotten used to saying..."There's always next year!"
