String test results...

Ok, so I am flipping back & forth on whether I believe any of this old wives' tale stuff. First, the heart rate indicates girl. So, today I went with a couple coworkers to one of their daughter-in-law's house to get a string test done. For those who don't know what that is, my wedding ring is tied to a thread and hung over either my belly or my wrist. She held it over my wrist. Once the thread got all untangled and unwound, it sat there for just a second. Then, it started circulating slowly...then the circle got bigger...and bigger. If it rotates in a circle...supposedly a girl. If it would've gone in a straight line up my arm, it would've indicated a boy. So...based on heart rate and this string test - it's a girl. But, my husband's response "whatever, we'll find out in a couple weeks." He thinks it's all crap. I guess I'll have to wait 'til the 11th to know for sure.
